July 29, 201411 yr Could just be a bad year for Davidson and Johnson, they could always rebound next season. Both are young. And who was it that said Angel Sanchez was the 2nd most exciting pitcher in the system lol? Ever since he said that, Sanchez has been getting lit up.
July 29, 201411 yr If Davidson keeps this up he will have Trey and Nick Basto nipping at his heels. I know Trey and Basto are a ways off but seemingly so is Davidson. I haven't given up on Davidson but he really needs to pull it together.

Semien will be fine. I like his hit tool and he can still work a walk and has good power. Davidson's power is still there at least but he has no contact right now, I'd still make that trade 10 times out of 10. Johnson scares me the most because he lost 3 mph on his fastball and his control went to s***.

It's so cool when some of us get to actually see the minor league teams play. I appreciate the info. Otherwise, I'm only looking at box scores and occasional highlights. I'm hoping myself to see the Voyagers in a couple of weeks.
July 29, 201411 yr I think that Micker is having a good year with the AZL club. Yeah he is striking out a lot, but you have to keep in mind that he is 17 years old and is holding his own against more advanced competition. I think that he is going to be a special player for the White Sox down the line.

Performance doesn't seem to matter a whole lot to the Sox sometimes for promotions. That might be a bit of unfair stat scouting, but there's definitely cases of rushing guys performing relatively poorly whilst other guys with way stronger numbers are left too long.
