Like I said yesterday Adam Dunn kills San Fran pitching! Atta boy Donkey!

good call

I really do not understand how nobody wanted Dunn in some aspect for a playoff roster.

The trading season isn't over.

Q is money

Back to back games leadoff triple does not score. Do not see that very often.

So am I to assume that "B Posey tripled to deep right," as ESPN describes it here at work, is not the entire story?

Nice job by Q to wiggle out of it though!

Magic Glasses 3 for his last 18

Balta thinks he needs a rest and 500 aspirin ;)

Dunn gave up on it and it short hopped the wall. It wasn't easy by any stretch, but a competent outfielder would have made the catch

Sox 1-0 thru 5

Only 4 Ks though, so there's that.

And would you say playing while over-tired could also have negative effects?

Of course, but what does that have to do with taking aspirin? :)

And we are lucky that we weren't De Aza'd again because SF didn't have anyone at 3rd. Dude either forgot how many outs there were, or missed the play.

De Aza almost got caught.

I think "When the announcing team calls out how he looks at the plate, whether from exhaustion or injury, it is an appropriate time to give him a day off" is a reasonable standard to me. They've done it twice this year. The last time, he played until he couldn't walk.

That's why I'm calling this out now. It's time again.

That was due to an injury not just because he was tired. Don't get me wrong, he could probably use a couple of "mental days" but the two scenarios aren't the same.

Loaded for Alexi
