I find it hard to believe the Sox intend to use him out of the pen in September. To me, this is stretching him out to get 3-4 September starts. One off day after 9/4...a 6-man rotation makes too much sense.

August 24, 201411 yr Semien looks like he's upset he was passed for the promotion. Unfortunately for Alvarez he will be 25 next year and will be starting the year at Kanny. I don't see him passing Peter and DiMichele on the 2B org chart yet.

Mix in some good trades, free agent signings, and a couple years of high drafting... We're back to it like never before and quick. Good job Hanh and company. We're heading in the right direction.
