    My buddy (Yankees fan) was just saying how much he hopes they resign Robertson now. It blew my mind....20+ million AAV between two relievers.

    They carried a mediocre roster all the way to one game from a World Series title. Teams like to emulate the newest trend in playoff teams, hence paying extra for setup guys.

    Makes a lot of sense for LA. They want/ed to move on from AJ Ellis after his abysmal offensive performance in 2014. Makes less sense for AZ financially. And of course both players are already familiar with the NL West, which is another important consideration.
