Nope. There wasn't a ton of participation from the members and it was a lot of work for knightni when he was basically organizing and doing the whole thing.

That is where I have been trying to convince my wife for us to move to because I love it there but she always brings up the housing costs. There has to be some place to live there that is affordable.

You'd probably have to get an apartment and save every nickel.

I am not so sure. Just a quick browse on zillow and there are some nice homes in the 400k range in nice areas. That is a lot of money of course but its not totally outrageous for the quality of life aspect.

Same, though I'd be more interested in the central coast or around the bay area than socal.
