With the new roster updates, I was able to nab Puig, Rizzo, Shields, and Kipnis.

 

My lineup:

8. Lucroy

9. Archer

I had fun with the actual collecting, but that mode gets really repetitive. They need to add something else to vary things a bit. Mine is something like this...

I got basically all of those guys pretty cheap and put most of my assets into my rotation. I've got Seaver, Harvey, Kluber, Cole and Keuchel/DeGrom (should have grabbed Grienke before he jumped to a diamond).

I agree with your logic here, the Wii 2 or something like Super Wii would have been way better. Like you said, the Wii U sounds like an add-on and when it was announced, everything focused on the controller. It really seemed like a new peripheral for the Wii. And even when more details were, announced the fact all your Wii stuff could still be used added confusion.

 

Having said that, the Wii U was never going to resonate with the casual audience, which is why I think keeping the Wii brand was a mistake. The controller was expensive and its theoretical benefits should have been for hardcore gamers. Nintendo tried to get that causal audience anyways with Nintendoland, but it was never going to be another Wii Sports. Ultimately, they tried to leverage the Wii brand, but failed to build an offering at a price point that would appeal to the same customers.

So, the Nintendo 3DS was the biggest selling video game system of 2014. Why aren't they making any new games that are worth a s***?

I was late to the ballgame, but I am really enjoying The Show. No Diamond Dynasty, though, just Franchise. Had my banner game last night, CGSO form Samardjiza, 14ks against 1 bb and 3 hits. Won 7-0 and pounded out 17 hits.

 

I'm sitting pretty at 15-9 at this point.

 

The game, graphically, is superb, and the gameplay is just flawless. For some reason I can't dominate with Sale, though.

PSN account was finally unbanned yesterday (with no apology). Of course, Rocket League costs $20 now.

The problem with Sony's CAPs is that you either have brown hair that's really dark or blonde hair that's really blonde. There's almost no in between. I made Sale with blonde hair, a brown beard, and a blonde mustache.

Somebody made a really good Fresno Tacos logo in Diamond Dynasty. The jerseys they wore last night are pretty awesome.

If you take budgets off, then what's the point of editing players with their real contracts?

Got Madden 16 on EA Access. New catch and defense mechanics take some getting used to.

Kinda funny.

IGN gave Metal Gear Solid 5 a perfect 10. A little disappointed to hear the story takes a back-seat in this one, but otherwise can't wait for next Tuesday. The gameplay sounds incredible.

The story thing is a big deal to me, it's one of the things that sets Metal Gear games apart. I'm sure I'll have a blast with the game but this is sort of a bummer.
