Only thing is, if their is any truth to him potentially getting 1 game, and the evidence mounted so far against him, why would he be stupid enough not to accept the 1 game. I suppose he might just have an ego that he just presumed he could strong arm them to victory?

I think the official rumor is that the NFL offered 2 games for his "confession."

But yeah, I'd imagine it's about ego now. And tainted legacy. Now his history will mention this stuff, but there's no confession, there's no direct proof. The conspiracy angle can still be there.

Did I hear that Willie Young was going to be ready for the start of training camp? WTF happened there? I thought he was out til mid season from what they were reporting before.

There goes the biggest advantage the Seahawks had, now they actually have to fight the salary cap in putting together their defense.

Seahawks went from like 30th in the league on salary cap money towards QB to 2nd.

Also Bobby Wager is a free agent after this year. Can't pay everyone.

Enjoyed Aaron Leming's tweets on training camp today.

NFL cap hell is the worst, too.

Aaron came to the Sox game with me last night. He's a good dude. I saw some interesting things at training camp the last couple days while I was there too.

Bring me Tony McDaniel! Perfect replacement for McDonald.

Well, they just paid Bobby Wagner. So they must plan on paying everyone

White's injury seems to be a real problem. Fox is very noncomittal and some indications that he might not practice at all in bourbanais (sp?).

Yeah I was kind of thinking this is bad too. But what can be a long term injury that is of the shin?

Nothing, but long-term implications of the season won't be good if he can't play. Hard to get up to speed as a rookie wideout as is (although in recent years their have been some more rookie's who have clearly done well) but sitting out for a while and the whole thing being a brand new offense (not just for him, but for team) doesn't bode well to any impacts he'll make this year. Hopefully it is all premature and he's back in the next few days. Fact that he is still in a pool gives me cause for concerns.

Seems odd for a shin injury to extend this long anyway. He's already missed 6 weeks. I do like the reports I've been reading about the camp. That said, I have heard too many seasons of good reports so I'll keep it limited. I hear offense looking good and I think, welp, our defense probably just sucks hard, haha. That said, I have such a good feeling about the long-term future of this franchise with Fox / Pace in charge.

Was just about to come in and post on that. Rookies learning curve is huge, difficult to come in and produce right away.

It also sounds like Fuller still sucks and already has nagging injuries.

Fuller supposedly has had a really good day in practice (and I think they said had a good day yesterday). Started off slow but picking it up. Did he just get hurt or something?

I don't know, hard to keep track, bunch of random tweets through the weekend. One of the PFW guys said CB was a real concern.

I am really surprised at the early talk of Shea McClellin being the leading candidate at the starting LB spot. He was one of the guys that I thought would be an immediate cut as soon as this new staff got a look at him. Apparently Fox thinks Shea has all the tools and smarts to play well...Alrighty then...

The McClellan stuff is so weird. I was out there a couple times and Mason Foster looks way better. I'd be surprised if the starters aren't Foster and Jones honestly.

So from what i've seen. The first 2-3 practices were disaster for the defense. Very negative notes on Fuller/Bostic/all safeties. The last 2 have been more positive, with positive notes on Fuller/Bostic/all safeties.

Going to back out of the day to day of training camp. Forgot how annoying it is.

Houston and McPhee both looked really good at OLB. Christian Jones looked good as well and Ego at least looks the part of a potential player.

What position was Ego playing?
