What year?

2049.

Please don't be one of these games again

Offense back to hiding

not a good ab by avi. He should have been looking off speed the entire AB. Or, maybe he was and failed to execute.

He really needs to use the change up and use it effectively to be really good, IMO

Even without the change he still has 3 pitches because he has 2 different sliders, but yeah, he could still definitely do with the change

And I spoke and the 96 came

He changes speeds on all of his pitches. Thats what makes his so dangerous. He has 3 different sliders. At his age thats insane.

When Rodon misses with his fastball he really does miss lol

I didn't say leave the rotation like that. I've said I would have picked up Wandy Rodriguez off waivers for one. The Rangers did and he's been good for them, even including a meh start tonight.

Wandy does not inspire hope.

Btw, it's not an indictment of any of the players involved, but let's not act like it wasn't a reasonable gamble to make.

Wandy does not inspire hope.

He does so a lot more than Noesi anyway.

Someone tell that terrible band to shut up

Our defense will always be bad

lol I like it. Oakland fans are great.

Pass ball BS

wow they lost track of the count? are you f***ing kidding?

QUOTE (raBBit @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:02 PM)
That is my favorite thing about him. That start against the Royals in ST was so impressive. Different trajectory/speed on all of his sliders. That's how you get an 80 grade when you're a junior in college.

It takes a long time to master multiple speeds on multiple pitches. His ceiling is high

What up with our d another passed by ( could be a wild pitch) either way a horrible effort to block it by Soto

It's not that big of a deal lol

I think the key for Rodon is to get 1st pitch strikes. Once he gets ahead of a hitter, they have virtually no chance.

Bye Butler

QUOTE (raBBit @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:05 PM)
On cue. The confidence two double up on the slider on 3-2 and throw it from two different angles.

Thats incredible at his age. He will have some bad starts where he cant find it, but when its on hes filthy.

Great job Carloseses

what luck this guy fell to the Sox at 3. One of the best pure talents available at 3 probably in the last decade, right?
