I don't like saying a closer is worth as much as what we are paying him, but he's exceeded what everyone could have hoped for.

 

Reminds me of Jenks in 2006 where it was just really exciting to watch them overmatch hitters.

This game had a ton of similarities to the first win of the season.

Just looked at his stats, he had one great year and two bad years with us. Wouldn't be too difficult for Robo to surpass.

Thigpen has the saves record, Roberto Hernandez the longevity...let's see how long he can keep it up.

 

In terms of sheer dominance, Jenks in his first couple of seasons, although obviously different styles.
