Oof. Anyone warming in the pen?

Petricka now.

Thank god for the sun and their RF.

Samardjiza had one hell of a start. Really he threw a 7 inning shutout, and his defense gave up a run.

Whew, thought both those were hit farther.

Cabrera has been really vocal when calling off Eaton today

Jeff did a nice job with not much defense.

To be fair fans of every White Sox opponent has been able to say Thank God for their (pick a position) vs. the Sox this season.

Yep, this is a damn good Toronto 1-5, and he shut them down.

Alexei gave up 5 of the 6 on Monday, and 1 for 1 today.

Ramirez needs to sit for a couple days. He's on pace for -1.2 fWAR and his defensive metrics are the worst they've been since his rookie year. Sit his ass down and tell him that nobody on the team is guaranteed a spot every day no matter how long they've been here.

With Gillaspie seemingly hobbled/unable to play right now that does reduce our options.

RV never sits him that is on him.

He's been pitching pretty good other than seemingly one bad inning in a few of his starts. He has a 3.00 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 8 K/9, 1.75 BB/9, 4.6 K/BB in the month of May.

Ok Jake, come on, let's hold this together.

Isn't he due for a new contract? Odd that many players "peak" instead of regressing like this.

Now in trouble. 2 on, 1 out.

So Jake pitched 2 innings last night and he is the first out of the bullpen today?

Putnam and Duke look to be up. Putnam coming in?

This organization just loves him, it seems. I'm not the biggest fan, as he needs to strike more hitters out.

Not to mention you already are down one bigger bat in Garcia for Shuck. You add another singles type of bat in Bonifacio in all likelihood.

And now they bring in Putnam with 2 guys on. Why not just start the inning with him? Doesn't make much sense

Alexei Ramirez is a "bigger bat"?
