Is Williams a Top 100 prospect? Alfaro I'd at least heard of.

July 30, 201510 yr Starting to make a lot more sense for the Phillies, although they have a long way to go...still have the Ryan Howard deal on the books. I think they're done with Utley and Cliff Lee after this year, but yikes. LOL at Chi Chi Rodriguez, loved the way he played the game of golf with such infectious enthusiasm back in the day...especially his antics on the green with the putter.
July 30, 201510 yr Not liking this deal as much for the Phillies without Gonzalez, Odor or Profar included. Then again, it's a HUGE contract for any team to take on. There's not insignificant risk for any team acquiring a veteran pitcher on the other side of 30 these days who has never gone through TJ.
