Avi had to come a long way . I'm pretty sure he was shaded towards CF. Sanchez veered off when I thought he had a better shot at it. Not a great angle but a better chance.

Oh ha Hawk doesnt bother me at all . He acts like a Sox fan so overusing a few phrases doen't phase me. He tries them on sees how peopel react to them and eventually the unpopular ones he stops using. He'll go back to duck snort eventually.

Danks pitched a nice game against a good team.

He did well last season.

Interesting DH conversation. I have heard in many places DH is a really tough "position" because you just dwell on batting the whole game.

The eye test tells me Danks is a very good pitcher still coming back from the injury. I love the way he competes. I love the way he works fast. I love JOHN DANKS!

I just noticed that when SouthSideSale asked for a quick recap of the game , not one of the 3 or 4 people who answered said anything about Avi protecting the 2-1 lead by robbing a 3R Hr . That was huge !

Greg is good at the eye test....yeah ok buddy. Go have a few more bud lights and take it easy.

It's been two years dude. He's never going to be the guy he was before the shoulder injury. He'll be a guy who can throw in the high 80s for the rest of his career.
