Have you noticed that whenever Eaton strikes out, he takes his gum out of his month and throws it to the backstop?

Cy Richards is gone.

I think he said the base was occupied at the time he threw the ball. It is BS, but if that is what he saw, it is the correct call.

We need an Abreu bomb

Jeff Samardzija's final line: 6 IP, 9 H, 6 R/ER, 2 BB, 4 K, strikes on 66 of 103 pitches. #WhiteSox

nasty pitch from duke

Now we are into good part of Cubs pen. I hate Samardzija

Terrific inning for Duke

Cub bullpen is shaky at best.

It's time for LaRoche to do something.

Grimm is good.

LaRoche is indescribably bad

I'd rather see Lyndon Larouche bat than Adam LaRoche.

Sigh.

Adam getting the boo birds every AB well deserved.

It's been outstanding last two months

Needs to retire

Does Robin enjoy watching the Cubs hit home runs?

Maybe he has to ask Cooper before he takes him out. Honestly, is he watching the same pitcher as me?

Good luck selling any tickets for next season with Shark and LaRoche both coming back next year.

That would be the ultimate backfire...right now, the odds are against it still, but with the draft pick compensation attached, you wonder who would have been willing to give James Shields that deal if the Padres didn't, for example.

I'm not even sure Shark would be viewed as favorably coming into this particular market as Shields, with the likes of Price and Cueto not costing acquiring teams a pick and a bundle of other names like Iwakuma and Latos at the same tier or higher because of lower financial demands.

I watched Rondon blows 2 saves lately. Cubs won in extras but still.

LaRoche down to .210

Can we just sit him

Rongey says no. He's a veteran and making $12.5 mil. Rongey said this on the radio within the last week, when someone called in.

Lead off guy on. Make them pay!!

That is why I cannot stand Rongey, no matter how s***ty he must play.
