Erik Johnson will start for the White Sox in Kansas City on Sunday. Chris Sale bumped to Monday.

Devastating for fantasy purposes.

KC series:

Danks - Medlen

Quintana - Duffy

Johnson - Cueto

Maybe a Saturday win, but probably not.

have they won a game in KC this year? they may go 0-9 there. That's impressive. But they may sneak one out this weekend.

Danks always does well against KC though.

Might pitch well but doesn't mean they will win.

I know nobody gives a crap about fantasy sports but I am playing against a guy with Chris Sale this week and the week ends Sunday thus he loses a start.

Best White Sox news all season.

It's the last week of the regular season for me and one of the teams competing with me for second place (and a bye week in the playoffs) has Sale, so I can relate.

Nobody gives a flying f*** about your fantasy teams.

Nah. I'm not sure it's possible to be more annoying than somebody talking about their fantasy team.

Shoot, if it wasn't for fantasy baseball I would have checked out on this team months earlier. People who defend or get all riled up that "fantasy" is ruining the sport?? Get a grip. People can watch baseball for anything. Some people might go for fireworks, some might go for a bobblehead, others the smells of a polish and onion, the others a crack of the bat, others to fill a scorecard. I watch my Sox for the game, but fantasy doesn't hurt that. That being said. Shark ruined my season. Over and Over. Worst draft pick ever.

Well that is about all that is left to entertain you when your (real) team sucks balls.

The Sox will be just what the doctor ordered for a struggling Cueto. Sox cure a lot of folks of what's ailing 'em. Royals are only 2 over .500 vs. lefties which makes you wonder what they are against lefties who do not pitch for the Sox. Probably well under .500.

Happy to see the Sox get Johnson some starts. Been a long tough season for Sox starting pitching and a six man rotation for September is a smart move by the Sox, imo. Hopefully Johnson pitches well and makes it easy for the Sox to walk away from Samardzija this winter.

Tough start for Johnson though. Hot day in Kansas City coming with a sellout crowd and they'll be amped up to sweep us again. I wish he coulda started vs. Minnie.
