Abreu got married (?)

Featured Replies

According to Adrian Nieto's Instagram, he (and Melky) are or were at Jose Abreu's wedding.

Figured if we had a thread for beckham's marriage, Abreu deserves one too

I thought he had a son?

He has a son, yes. I think he was engaged or something when the Sox signed him, relations with Cuba hadn't been normalized at that point. There was some article about the struggles of him being away from his family.

Nothing, I was just curious because I thought I remembered him having a son.

Don't have to have a wife to have a son.

I've always maintained that a man needs 2 things to be happy in life. He must be in love with his work and he must be in love with his wife. It looks like Jose Abreu has both now.

Sappiest comment of the century.

A child out of wedlock?!? Trade this man!

He used to be on WSI. (may still be, I was banned last year) He would post this any time anyone posted a topic that involved marriage.

Or at least, I assume it's the same guy. Unless there are multiple Sox fans who have the exact same saying on marriage that they post on Sox boards.

I've always maintained that a man needs two things to be truly happy in life. He must be in love with his work, and he must be in love with his wife.

Nah. It's classic Chris Rock man. Men need 3 things: Food, Sex, Silence. That's about it.

And, Strange Sex. That's the way I heard it. Funnier when Chris Rock does it.
