No. Read his statement. He Sid if a teammate or manager came to him he would deal with it since the clubhouse is their office. It wasn't KW's . Did KW tell him a teammate or coach had a problem or did he just say there was a problem? And why did KW leave the whole entir ban out of his story. I think KW feeds Nightengale info and that falls in perfectly with Sales complaints about KW not being able to keep his story straight. Telling the players it was the coaches, thellimg the coaches it was the players and finally telling everyone it was JR.

Since they tried to trade LaRoche and failed, do you think that there is even a smidgen of a possibility that all of this is from JR to get rid of LaRoche and it is KW taking the brunt to cover for him? I mean they do have their staff meetings. Any possibility that JR stressed the fact that after the fiasco last year and thus year having back issues, that JR may have implicated in their meetings.Enough is enough. Do what you have to do. huh? What leadership has Chris Sale shown here? He's shown zero leadership. A true leader would have gathered the guys in the clubhouse and because he's the leader they would all have fallen in line behind him. That isn't what happened, at all.

A flaming pile of s*** has more integrity at this point then KW. He has lied or omitted things so many times in the last few days it's unreal. If he ain't fired I hope this team boycotts until he is.

It does seem like horses*** that Kenny would ask to dial it back and not walk away from LaRoche with an affirmative agreement. If LaRoche had no intention of scaling back, why did it take the 4th consecutive day for Kenny to blow his top?

 

It's a bad organization right now, mostly because Jerry wants Kenny to be there to make bad deciisions.

It would be the job of someone away from the team on a daily basis to address the issue with the player.The hope would be that the club house would function better if the blame was on the "front office" and not a teammate to teammate issue. How many people have the option to bring their kids to work every day? At some point the players have to do their damn job and get to work instead of entertaining kids.

This is exactly what I said it was yesterday. Players and coaches went to KW and complained about the kid always being around instead of going to LaRoche. KW had meeting with LaRoche asking him to dial it back. LaRoche didn't do so. KW flipped out and told LaRoche that he couldn't have his kid around anymore. KW cooled down and went back to his original story of telling LaRoche only sometimes. Chris Sale is a moron and probably doesn't even realize that he has teammates that went to Kenny in the first place. Kenny fell on the sword and took this all so players and coaches didn't have to. It wasn't handled properly but LaRoche didn't exactly take Williams very seriously. LaRoche is irrational. I'm happy he's gone because he's weird and bad and I don't feel like watching him all year.

If Drake had been clocked in the head by a throw across the infield or hit in the head and knocked out by a line drive, would Adam LaRoche blame himself?

 

How often can you directly disrespect a front office exec and not expect to have it blow up on you? How would or should any team president in a similar situation (who had expressed concerned about dialing it back at least once if not twice to LaRoche) react to seeing the kid in the middle of the field the next day?

 

Would they write a reprimand? Fine LaRoche? What were KW's options? Back off? Have a "secret ballot" team vote on Drake, whether he should go or stay?

 

Every player and ex-player has respect for that playing field...it's their office where they do their work. They earned the right to be there.
