Just said on the radio that Lawrie batting 2nd & Sands batting 7th as DH.

Hoping it doesn't so we don't have too many games without Eaton. Missing him yesterday and maybe tomorrow is enough.

This is dumb. Put Saladino at 2B and Lawrie at DH.

 

Edit: Nevermind. Saw that Saladino is already in the lineup for Rollins.

I don't think Saladino plays 2B. And where would Sands go? Who would play SS?

 

Saladino can play second. And I guess Rollins would stay at short. Saladino is already in the lineup for Rollins however.

I do like Lawrie batting in the 2-hole. If he is even a little patient he will see a lot more fastballs then where he was batting.

A 60% chance of rain at 2 is the only time that there is more than a 50% chance of it

Saladino can play basically everywhere on the infield.

 

Some argue he's best at SS, some 3B...more recently, because of the presence of Sanchez/Micah Johnson in the high minors, he's probably had the least amount of time at 2B but he won't embarrass himself anywhere you put him.

Hell, he's already played some 1B this year. 2B will not be an issue for him.

IF Abreu ever has a day off, but plays.DH, then I'd rather have Sands play 1B instead of Saladino. Sands is not pointless, if he can find his stroke, then he can rake.
