Is that Melky's first XBH on the season?

Melky crushing the ball

Nice AB from Melky

Also, that strike to Melky was laughably outside.

That said, 6-2 is HUGE for this organization.

Going back a decade, since 2007...we've never been more than 2 games over .500 at the end of April and are typically 3-5 games under.

Of course, we've arguably played three of the worst (CLE will be better) teams in the AL at this point. The real test is yet to come, but Rodon pitching so well is encouraging.

Lawrie and Melky have settled in pretty well.

Oakland has actually played pretty well against everyone except the Sox.

WOULD BE* huge... come on, the game isn't over

If this score holds, we'll have given up only 14 runs in the 7 starts not made by John Danks. That's incredible.

We went 6-13 against the Twins last year so IDGAF what their record is.

The bullpen is extremely good this year.

Yes it is.

Thought so, thanks.

Ok that was a cutter he hit. My bad lol that's what I get for switching games so frequently

Thanks for the home run Sands

2007 bullpen started great too. Then it turned May.

As much as I prefer Navarro, Avila does have a really nice approach and eye at the plate.

That was the first White Sox team I followed as a "die-hard". The days of Ryan Bukvich, Ehren Wasserman, Dewon Day, Boone Logan, Mike MacDougal, etc... quite the 'pen

Stop trying to jinx that s***. You know what pen also started hot? The 2005 pen, and guess what, they stayed hot all year. :P
