I'm not sure how Latos keeps getting away with throwing 90 MPH fastballs right down the middle.

John Ryan Murphy: Baseball player, or presidential assassin from the 1800's?

He's probably a better assassin in his former life

NO chance to catch Buxton there.

Still trying to figure that out about Phil Hughes as well

Latos gets the pop up and inning over. 46 pitches through 3.

9 innings so far for Latos this year and only 1 hit. I could get used to this

God damn it seems the Sox staff as a whole is just awful at holding runners.

God the Twins lineup is completely dreadful

Throwing his breaking ball for strikes. If he loses command of that, he's going to get shelled.

Mat Latos...9 IP no runs. I know the offenses he's been up against haven't been good, but given the stuff he's throwing, I don't think he can keep anything close to this up.

Byron Buxton stayed in after the HBP and stole a base. But he is now out of the game with Max Kepler replacing him in CF.

And that one hit came after Shuck dropped one in foul territory. He does need more strikeouts though, that BABIP ain't gonna stay at .042 for much longer.

If Buxton misses time, hoo man. Poor Twinkies.

If he stays heathy and finishes the year with a 4.50 ERA, I'll call his season a success.

If he stays healthy that alone is a success.

f***!

Damn Navarro is just wearing it right now. Kepler made a heck of a read and catch out there in DEEP RCF. He killed his first AB as well, but it was RIGHT at Mauer.

Garcia?!

Avi bomb!

Avi bomb!

Garcia does WAY out of here to DEEP CF. You heard that one off of the bat.

Navarro can't catch a break.

sweet

Holy s*** that was crushed loved that swing

Nice. Avi didn't have that kind of power last April. His shoulder is probably in much better shape now.
