How many times this year have they scored more than 3 runs vs a starting pitcher? Has to be less than 5. Putting a putrid hitter like Saladino is pretty stupid as well.

I agree, they just swing and miss at good fastballs in the zone.

Gausman's not going to be easy to square up at 96-97, but he's already nearing 95 pitches.

That said, the O's have a pretty good bullpen.

 

 

Seems like we don't have nearly as many good fastball hitters as we used to. Lawrie definitely can square one up, though.

 

Realistically, we should be losing this game by 5-6 runs at this point. Incredibly fortunate to be down just 1.

Great glove, but overmatched at the plate. Fine for a utility player, but not someone that should be batting 2nd
