There's no reason for Rollins to hit 2nd right now.

Dam Rollins

Abreu! Outstanding hitting, 3-0 Sox!

White sox have bases loaded every game it seems like

Second most ABs with the bases loaded this year, only trailing the Cubs.

Thank you Abreu for picking him up!

Good thing Jimmy didn't make contact or else it may have been a inning ending DP

They don't really have a true number 2 hitter. Rollins is the best they have...maybe saladino?

I was hoping for a walk, especially since it was 3-1. Then Severino realized Rollins can't hit a 97 MPH fastball up in the zone.

Severino getting no calls on the corners. Also, it seems like his problem is his stuff has too much movement.

And you can add another with that Frazier walk

You want good contact out of the 2 spot, Sox don't exactly have a ton of those guys. I'd say Lawrie or AJax can both work better. Lawrie Ks a bit too much for my liking in that spot, but he's been hitting pretty damn well so far. I'm much more confident in his ability to hit a fastball right down the pipe than Rollins.

If Anderson continues to improve in AAA he will be the #2 hitter midseason.

Melky rarely strikes out. He has more walks than strikeouts.

I felt like we should have gotten more than 3 there, but any crooked number is a good crooked number.

He's being used to split the righties in the middle of the lineup (which I don't really care for). I think he definitely first best as the #2 hitter. Good contact, good OBP. Lawrie looks good enough to hit 5th right now.

True, but I think the way our lineup is constructed, we need Melky hitting behind Frazier. He's our 3rd best run producer. I agree with placing Ajax or Lawrie, but like I said they really don't have a true 2 hole guy.

Headley couldn't get an XBH in his first 91 at bats and now has 2 in 2 games. Weird how that works.

Nasssstyy slider

Chris is getting hit around a little bit right now. Lots of solid contact so far.
