Not THAT big a deal. Could be worse. He'll come out of it eventually.

Just a lot harder for him with the team and Jose struggling collectively.

Lawrie with the biggest hit of the season so far. Not quite Crede off Riske, but more for the fact that it bailed out Jose Abreu.

That's big IMO. He can rest easy knowing there's guys that'll pick him up.

I'm starting to grow tired of Latos' pitching

You can bet Jose thanked Lawrie after than homer.

Pen has to be ready

He just needs to actually swing at strikes again. During his good stretch this year he swung at nearly 80% of strikes. During this slump he's back down to swinging at only 60% of strikes.

Why? He is what he is at this point. They don't have a better option

Just don't hang one here...

and RV needs to f***ing be as well. These are critical in division games he needs to have a quick hook. Worry about the 2nd game in the 2nd game.

Hopefully the White Sox can relax a bit now and get back to the way they were going before...

Thought the Frazier grand slam was going to be it, but the Cabrera single yesterday and Lawrie's hit seems to (at least for the moment) have taken the pressure off again.

That said, you can't fall asleep with this Indians' offense, even without Brantley and 32 year old journeyman Martinez out there.

LOL at Latos with the glove throw then the Lawrie hug.

Finally...sit your butt down

Love that Lawrie hugging it out with Latos. The chemistry on this team is good.

No they don't, so maybe it's time to go find one.

Harrelson will blow a gasket if Latos walks the first hitter after taking a three run lead. (OOOPS, keep forgetting it's Benetti because I usually follow the radio feed/s.)

Struck him out swinging. Now the shadows are really taking their toll on the hitters.

I'd settle with 2 more outs from Latos.

There's the early Latos

Back to back K's from Latos.

They're trying

Atta boy Mat. One more and one more inning.

We really thought Eaton sucked at the beginning of last year too. We retired Konerko plenty of times (not saying Jose is Paul). It's been 1.5 mediocre months.

Latos is pitching beautifully this inning. Hitting his spots perfectly and curves are breaking nicely.

Lol

Nice 1,2,3 for Latos. Do you march him back out for the 7th?

Really nice to see Mat pitch with some real ease that inning.
