Navarro?!?!? Are you freaking kidding me, Robin?

It doesn't matter anymore, but Robin just pulled Albers with 2 outs for Duke to come in...against Neil Walker.

Walker hits .258 against RHP, .324 against LHP.

Someone explain the logic?

Probably looking at 2015 stats

Familia struggled with a tie game and 4 run lead this weekend but zero blown saves. We're quite familiaR with that whole "closer in a non-save" situation from this past weekend going awry.

4.07 ERA. 2-1 record.

Did Navarro even get a piece of the ball

Of course he K's

Good time to bunt right here

Our only hope is Eaton jacking one right here.

I can't ever recall a manager in early May going from the clear favorite for AL/NL Manager of the Year to fired in the span on one month.

Has it ever happened?

Can't agree with that reasoning. Bunting is a valid and effective strategy. We had one out and two runners in scoring position and our bug hitter up

Good strategy if the pitcher was up. Bad strategy when your best hitter is up.

Calling Jose HR.

This string of 1-2 run games (mostly losses) is incredible.

Offense just not leaving any margin for error. And obviously the bullpen.

Odds of Abreu not striking out here?

Calling Jose HR.

Ballsy call on 0-2.

Nice to see our lineup get both Familia and Harvey out of their funks.

This team and it's manager are complete garbage.................... blow this team apart.

Why Navarro over Avi

Wow, bulls*** call to end the game. Quite fitting.

Good strategy if the pitcher was up. Bad strategy when your best hitter is up.

Yeah, against RHP, Cabrera's the most likely one to get a big hit this season IMO.

Frazier has had his moments, but he's not as much of a contact hitter. And a 1 run lead on the road doesn't even seem capable of being preserved at any rate with this bullpen.

Hard to see Robin surviving this trip

This team sucks. What a great mirage at the beginning of the season.

lol 7 in a row...wasnt it 9 in a row with Ozzie a few years back?

QUOTE (fathom @ May 30, 2016 -> 02:45 PM)
Why Navarro over Avi

Because Navarro is a switch-hitter so technically a lefty in Robin's mind.

This season ended on Rua's bomb. Team has lost all of its confidence and swagger since.

What new
