There's quite a bit of territory between "quitting on them" and not expecting anything above a 650ish OPS in the future.

They are/should be the last guy on a really good playoff team.

You are the one who has written them off.

Abreu KKKKKKKKKKKKKK

It would be kinda poetic if the Sox end this losing streak with a come from behind win.

EDIT: SPELLING

Edited by Joshua Strong

Flores, Plawecki and Ty Kelly coming up.

All three at .202 or lower.

Let's go, Nate.

Abreu is slugging like . 250 with runner(s) on base

Even had good at bats vs Thor did the team

They made the Mets throw something like 50 pitches over the 7th and 8th innings.

I will say this, it's pretty remarkable we're above .500 two months in when Abreu has been worth -0.5 WAR.

Remember when Abreu was a dangerous hitter? Seems like a long long time ago.

The bullpen has a lead. Let the games begin!

Nice quick out, two more to go Nate.

Edit . Runners in scoring position and it's .246 SLG.

That brings (a slumping) Cespedes into play in the bottom of the 9th.

Walker 4th...

it is nearly impossible for this bullpen to pitch a clean inning when the Sox have a lead.

Yay Nate

3 outs to go

that was good for Nate

3 outs. Can it be done?

Here we go again, 9th inning and a lead...is this the night the Sox can finally get over their current mental block?

I have absolutely zero confidence in Robertson. I'm going to Gameday for the rest of this because the loud cheers of opponents fans makes my blood boil.

Sox aren't playing KC. Robertson should nail this down no problem.

HOLD THE LEAD ! HOLD THE LEAD !! EVERYBODY !! HOLD THE LEAD HOLD THE LEAD !!!

Alright Robertson, no walks please.
