Offense once again struggling to hit fastballs. Almost wish we'd have more guess hitters on the team and cheat on the pitch more.

Oh wow, Marlon Byrd just got suspended for 162 games, got caught with PED's.

All they need to do is find a way to manufacture a few runs today... Hoping they can get it done.

It looked like this with Matz yesterday, hopefully we get a repeat and score some late runs.

The Sox need another big bat and soon to right the ship and really contend

At least he's up near 80 pitches.

He'll get 7 at this rate and then Reed/Familia

So are we just going to ignore the fact that everyone in baseball struggles to hit Degrom? He's one of the best pitchers in baseball.

Why has Gonzalez walked DeGrom twice?

Ok, that was just pathetic. Fourth leadoff walk, second walk to the pitcher. Come the f*** on.

He's a top pitcher, but his velocity isn't even that great today (92-93). Seen way too many struggles by the Sox this year catching up to low 90s fastballs. Today's game plan is quite strange, as they've taken a ton of fastballs to get behind in the count. He's going to easily have his best K performance of the season today at this rate.

One thing you have to give Ventura some credit for are these defensive shifts. They have been positioned quite well today, and have probably saved a few runs through these double plays.

it's all part of his plan

Another double play ball.

Have been all season....just KC swings a magic wand.

He's been lucky as f*** to roll all these double plays

Mets have to be frustrated today to only have one run.

All a part of the BB to set up the GIDP plan.

All you can do is ask Miguel Gonzalez to keep you in the game for 5-6 innings each start & he is doing that with consistency.

He's fine as a 5th starter, problem is he's our #4.

lol. Jerry Sands is our pinch hitter.

I honestly would have rather watched gonzalez hit
