Baserunning, Abreu and the absence of Melky Cabrera killed the Sox when they could have put the game away in the first but let Pelfrey off the hook. That lack of a knockout punch has seemed to bite the Sox quite frequently during this current 6-16 stretch.

 

Would be his first win of the season if they hold onto this one...which might not be so easy to do with that bullpen.
