Jon Jay would have been nice to have on this roster instead of Shuck. I wonder what the Pads were asking for, as I am sure Hahn inquired.
June 7, 20169 yr Praise the lord. It actually happened. I never want to see Sands again. I don't like Shuck over Coats though unless Jackson is still out for awhile.

June 7, 20169 yr I'm ok with it as long as we don't see Shuck in the CF, that would require AJAX fully healthy with Eaton covering CF once in a while.

That makes sense and if they keep Purke up that doesn't make sense. I would guess Sanchez for his glove but he struggled with the big club so far
June 17, 20169 yr Based on our OF depth you actually have to say that's good. You could see Sands having a MLB pinch hitting role if Morneau makes Shuck obsolete.

June 17, 20169 yr I can't remember a season that I had to check the roster almost daily to see who is around. This seems like a different approach than what we have seen in past seasons.
