Robin and Sale

Featured Replies

I didn't see anyone talking about it on here... was watching the KC broadcast when it happened.

Sale was barking at Ventura pretty hard when he took him out of the game. I had never seen him do that before.

I'm more angry that Robin didn't pull him after the first batter reached.

He was clearly gassed and had nothing left. Robin gonna Robin.

I'm sure with only 108 pitches he wasn't happy coming out. I like that in a pitcher.

I think Sale was pissed at his performance

Sale angry?! Never.

My only concern with Sale is his lower velocity which seems to be generating harder bat-to-ball contact. Should i be concerned?

Sale has deliberately lowered his velocity, they have talked about it all year. When he got mad last night he was up around 97-99 multiple times

He was barking at Ventura about something... yeah Sale being angry isn't new... but him barking at Ventura is new.

I wondered if anyone heard or saw what the issue was.

The deliberate decrease in velocity has not yielded much improvement to Sale's performance. He had a great 9 start run to start the season assisted by some luck, the last few starts have not been so great for him and that might be due to the regression that the peripheral numbers indicated.

The idea was to go deeper in the game with fewer pitches. Has that occurred?

By like 6 IP but he does has 3 complete games compared to 0 at this time last year.

Guys like Sale won't come out of games. He obviously was furious at Ventura for taking him out.

okay I guess we all will just assume that's what it was.... though Robin has taken him out 100 times before and I've never seen Sale bark at him.

But I guess you guys are really sure so nothing to see here.
