He was moving down the line on contact. That was a play put on by the bench. If it was a bunt called by Eaton, Anderson wouldnt of broke down the line on contact.

 

I would rewatch that if I were you. He was moving down the line initially but when Eaton put the bunt down Anderson was staying still and hesitated for a second

Perhaps, but why does Eaton have the ability to make that call? You're really going to try a surprise bunt and not have Anderson running on contact? That falls on the coaching staff.

 

Eaton has a history of doing what he wants. I recall him ignoring Rollins and throwing a guy out at 3rd earlier this season.

Anderson moving down the line = secondary lead/getting in position to score on ball in dirt.
