Has Coats bunted in the last 2-3 years?

Knuckleballs are NOT easy to bunt...and why was Garcia seemingly upset by high and tight knuckleball, lol??

Coats' first positive offensive contribution to the team, there.

Tazawa warming up. Seems Red Sox always have a couple of Japanese relievers.

Oh yeah...a bunt.

Predicting Coats will jack one out of here for his first hit.

Robin just ruined it. He did his job though

I am so glad I am not following the game on TV. Instead I think I'll just go outside and slam my fingers in the truck door. I usually avoid posting in the game threads and don't read them often, but for some reason I really want to destroy any remaining hope I had for this season.

Has Anderson made contact yet with RISP?

Not a good AB by TA

And it's left up to Adam Eaton...five K's for Wright.

That threat ended quickly. Another bunting strategy by Robin ends up backfiring.

Wonder what the success rate has been for scoring runs in an inning where there's a bunt involved by the Sox? 10% 15%?

Just awful

Team has some of the worst at bats imaginable with RISP. Team full of mentally weak players

Surprise, we still suck

Yeah. Gave up an out in a tie game while not in the 9th or at home.

Brilliant.

Considering it's been 0% that Coats gets a hit, it wasn't a bad play.

I still can't believe RV is still around. JR is the most gutless owner in baseball. I hope they draw 500 people for every remaining home game. Time for JR to get the message.

Yeah Jason Coats is a huge threat too.

I seriously hate bunting in basically every situation

The bunt was a solid pllay call. It worked and got the runner in scoring position with one out

Lindor just homered, 5-4 Indians in the bottom of the 8th, CLE still hitting.

Allen will try to close it out top of the 9th.

8 homers. That kid can really play.

Coats is just above cannon fodder.

Odds of an Ortiz homer right here?

I fully expect it

A team cant afford to give away outs and you sac bunt. It's just dumb.

Just as much as fat ass Avi scoring from second on a hit. :huh

Giving away outs is stupid with this offense.
