I am all for framing, but umpires shouldn't miss non borderline pitches.

They had a bad one last night with Avila catching. Was like down the middle and didn't get the caught because he dropped it IIRC

Flowers is a good framer and last season Shark threw one right down the middle for a ball. It was on one of the websites as the worst ball/strike call of the year.

But I do value framing. Some think it's bogus, I disagree.

Oh 100%, it's on them too, but Navarro is awful back there, stabs at everything

ToddFather laser homer run

Edit: good to see us get a run back quickly

Edited by SouthSideSale

Nice to see him get out and around on an inside fastball

Frazier actually did something for once!

I went to Fenway many years ago. Carlos Lee was on the White Sox and got stuck on the Green Monstor. But in person, the Green Momster looks like it's about 250 feet from home plate.

Last night was the turning point. Now we have scored 5 runs in the last 5 innings. I expect we will score 7-8 runs tonight

A guy can dream.

Sandy Leon GOAT.

Sandy Leon GOAT.

His Strat o Matic card would be outstanding.

Shuck always hustles down the line. But he did look out.

A little too nonchalant there.

Interesting point by Red Sox announcers. Anderson's homerun cleared the wall and landed on the street below. Unfortunately he may not get the ball on his first HR back.

Looks like a rocket in the box score.

Sale just needs to get through 2 more innings & turn it over to the pen.

That is one hell of a play by Shuck getting all 420 feet in there.

What an impressive play by Shuck. Loooooong way to go and makes it.

Boston fans have to be salivating at Sale tonight

@darenw 100ft covered by JB Shuck on his catch... That's a looooong way

Sale looking good.

Late comment but it was sure good to see Frazier hit that homer
