So weird....

Hopefully this is just a way to grab him an extra rest and manage his innings load.

Fulmer?

This makes sense.

Fulmer one start maybe and then moved to pen when Rodon comes back

I can dig it.

Anyone else a little unsure that Fulmer is going to not just s*** the bed in MLB?

I know he's on a run of a few bad starts, but Ranaudo seems like the option fro a spot start to me.

Hopefully just a made up injury to get him rest.

That's what I was thinking, given the timing around the AS break too.

I have no feeling on Fulmer either way. The walks concern me, but maybe he can handle it and is the best option right now.

We're in desperation mode right now for sure.

I thought he was on a run of some good starts ??

Would not be surprised if they did something similar with Fulmer as to what they did with Aaron Poreda and showcase him for a trade. Granted Poreda didn't start, but he was clearly brought up to snag someone they really wanted (Peavy). Albeit he denied the first time, the second time they got him. Be on the lookout for it, just my hunch. Maybe Lucroy is in the works.

"Rodon sprained his wrist slipping on the dugout steps coming out for the anthem prior to Friday's game"

He needed a DL trip to work on things actually. This comes at a fine time.

Extra rest never hurts.

Sorry about the confusing wording, I mean Ranaudo is on a run of bad starts.

Can a team really do that and not risk sanctions if caught?

Well, isn't there a video of him falling on the dugout steps...?

Surely, someone could corroborate it happening.
