  3. Lambert was the other realistic option, also went yesterday. BILLY HAMILTON = GAME CHANGER
  4. Tim 3 for 3 with a walk. Keep the line moving.
  5. Sheets has no business on a competitive roster. He is fortunate he plays for the Sox.
  6. Back to back outs at home. Anderson, Grandal and Santos getting it done.
  7. That's OK, the Sox are keeping the candle lit in Right Field this season.
  8. Alberto in for Burger, may have tweaked something during his at bat.
  9. Got it. They played 14 home games through Tuesday. You're likely looking at 13 separate gate events, which includes a straight doubleheader to make up the rain out home game against Philadelphia two Mondays ago.
  10. I'm listening, is it sparse on this cold night? 242,888 / 14 games played through May 2 = 17,349 per game played. I'm thinking of going tomorrow via Stubhub if Billy Hamilton is in the starting lineup. And just like that it's a tie ballgame.
  11. Steve Stone should apologize to David Sampson as well.
  12. Speed - Elite Defense - Elite Attitude - Elite He’s 32 now, and unfortunately can’t hit pitching on a regular basis. However, with the new rules, his value definitely rises as walks or singles more often than not will likely turn into doubles not reflected in OBP, after the likelihood of successful steals.
  13. With Colas in Charlotte and Romy on the IL, Gavin Sheets is the current regular starting RFer vs. RHP (Eloy will perhaps start against select LHP).
  14. White Sox 2023 Right Fielders through May 2, 2023: Appearances Player (Starts) Active Roster: 6 Sheets (5) 5 Haseley (0) 3 Eloy (3) Minor League Roster: 21 Colas (18) Injured Reserve: 6 Gonzalez (4)
  15. White Sox with most appearances at DH by season (2013 - May 2, 2023) Year Player (bWAR, Contract) 2013 Adam Dunn (0.2, $15.0M) 2014 Adam Dunn (0.7, $15.0M) 2015 Adam LaRoche (-0.7, $12.0M) 2016 * Avisail Garcia (0.9. $2.1M) 2017 Matt Davidson (-0.7, $0.5M) 2018 Matt Davidson (0.6, $0.6M) 2019 Yonder Alonso (-1.0, $8.0M) 2020 Edwin Encarnacion (-0.3, $12.0M) 2021 Yermin Mercedes (0.5, $0.6M) 2022 Eloy Jimenez (1.7, $7.3M) 2023 Eloy Jimenez (YTD 0.0, $10.3M) Average Season: 0.2 (plus (1/11) +/- of Eloy's remaining 2023) & $7.58M Note *: In 2016, Adam LaRoche gave up $13M voluntarily to avoid spending another second in the White Sox organization.
  16. Derek made most of the major calls including this one before stepping down when 2022 Spring Training began. It would be fair to see how she does calling the shots over the next few years with full authority over baseball operations (with Caroline O'Connor overseeing business operations) and working with a limited payroll ($92M / 23rd).
  17. Back to back games in San Francisco, a few weeks before being traded to the Bay Area (Oakland). 2 Run first inning HR on August 12 3-2 Sox win. The price to pay came the following day with a Dunn error. Sox were up 1-0 heading into the 7th, but San Francisco scored 7 in the bottom half including 2 on Dunn's error with no runs the remainder of the game, Hoping Billy Hamilton busts a move and gets into the Top 24, and also makes significant strides spelling Luis Robert for much needed rest (3-4 off days a month) with plus defense while he is out.
  18. Oh Billy, three things I pray To see thee more clearly Love thee more dearly Follow thee more nearly
