Is it more likely that the Red Sox are going to be extremely cautious with him because they are a playoff lock and in major control of the AL East? That would be a logical guess....but we won't know for certain until October. Frankly, the Red Sox shouldn't tell other teams until October even it if was them being extremely cautious...which is the issue for fans. If there was a serious problem, they shouldn't tell us.
