Having the most big name players wins you champinonships.

tell that to the yanks who are currently sitting at 3rd in the east...

I brought this up a few weeks ago.....why is Paulie our clean up man? He should be batting 5th or 6th. Jermaine is hitting much better and has comparable power numbers. I am going to be embarassed when the announcers bring up Paulie's numbers at the ASG. He should be hovering around .230 by then.

Jenks got it right off the glove to Gooch but Byrnes was safe on the slide into 1st. 1st and 2nd, 1 out.

It will be interesting to see the reaction on here if Jenks gives up a couple of runs tonight. Will he go from Cy Young to J. Navarro?

Our catching all around has been pathetic for the last few weeks. Widger should have never thrown that ball to 2nd.

We better start praying that Oakland doesn't get the wildcard.

Why? he gave up two ground balls that POSSIBLY coulda had plays made on.. its not like hes getting knocked around..

Why not?

Is it worth risking an injury w/ that kinda lead?

Who gives a s***, we have to make the playoffs first. A 9 game (give or take a game) heading into the ASB is no guarantee. We have a very difficult schedule in the 2nd half of the season, and the Twins always play great down the stretch.

We better not worry about that and not forget that the Twins and Indians are not done yet.

Jenks faced a couple of minor league players in that game, which helped him find a rhythm.
