  1. Past hour

  2. Hicks vs his former team here. Dont overthrow
  3. I'd like this much better if it were the top of the 9th too much baseball left in this game facing the Red Sox
  4. I think you go Brozaban, Hicks, and then Taylor for 2.
  5. No. But as they get closer to the post-season, he gets his chances against LH relievers. They can give him a good month of run next year and see what his stats look like.
  6. So you're good with him being a career platoon bat?
  7. Going tomorrow. It's going to be a bear pit.
  8. Yea - REALLY would be nice to see our staff putting up nothing but zeros.
  9. No. Will gives him a break against lefty starters. He's usually in by the 6th inning. Then he faces all the lefties he wants when they're thrown against him. It's a non-issue.
  10. So far this games MVP has been Chase. Mercy!!
  11. Antonacci has had one hell of a rookie season. I think we all like the guy. At this point, Venable uses him most as a platoon bat. Will typically sits him or pinch hits him against righties. His stats are pretty bad against righties. He's only got a .511 OPS against them. It makes sense when you look at the stats. But with Sam seemingly being an important piece for our team's future, should he get more opportunities against lefties so he can improve? I don't see how he can if he rarely gets opportunities. Should he get more opportunities or keep him as a platoon bat?
  12. Yeah, throw the helmet. Bad helmet, dragging me off the bag. LOL
  13. Gotta do basic infield practice tomorrow with the team. These are mistakes that can't be made.
  14. Boston making all kinds of dumb mistakes today.
  15. Nobody can get away with throwing almost all fastballs at 94-97.
  16. Castillo had a great fastball today, but he could not throw his other pitches competitively. That's why Boston looked way better the 2nd time around. If that's what Castillo is going to be, the Sox are in trouble.
  17. He pitched better than his line, relatively optimistic for his next start.
