  1. No, Ron, for two reasons. 1) I stated I was being ridiculous. 2) When all of that happens, you'd just back out.
  2. Awesome! Now send him to talk to Bryce.
  3. If you want to weed out the bullshit you will have to do it yourself. If we clamped down on everything that you don't like, we wouldn't be seeing breaking news from twitter accounts like k0na and kerryperrysbootyhole.
  4. Harold was elected to the HOF today.
  5. I’m fine with that path as long as Harper or Machado bless it. Can’t risk trading away and losing out on one of these guys.
  6. Ok-maybe I am wrong, but I'd like to hear others views on Kitty. I found him to be less than a hero. There I was 8/5 1983 in Baltimore. I had the best tickets. We had a long rain delay. Kittle came out just in front of the dugout to talk to people asking questions (reporters?). Anyway, he sounded like a jerk. Then the questions were over and I had a White Sox pennant where I had already gotten numerous signatures. I yelled, "hey Mr Kittle can you sign my banner?"... He looked at me and ignored me. Walked back into the clubhouse. I got almost every signature of players on that team, EXCEPT for Kittle, the Bull (Luzinksi) and Fisk (I was begging for Pudge but was told he was in the room playing cards) maybe a couple others. But one siggy I did get? Harold fucking Baines. Didn't say much, but a pleasant dude and his signature was actually very nicely written, not the typical scribble athletes usually sign with. That banner, that I protected during a 3 hour rain delay, and battled for signatures of my 1983 heroes is currently pinned to my wall 10 feet behind me.I LOVE the 1983 Sox maybe more than any team ever, I don't why. But they were the boys.
  7. One of my favorites of all time. Consummate hitter. Congratulations Harold.
  8. Out-fricken-standing
  9. I never thought it would happen, but that is awesome!
  10. Madrigal, Rutherford, Adolfo, Basabe, Gonzalez, Walker, Burger, Sheets and our 3rd overall pick in 2019 still in the minors. I wish more people would put to the side their personal feelings on the FO, Harper, and Machado, and see how huge getting the both of them would be. Instant foundation. Paying $65-$70 mil annually for 2 players will not financially hurt us with the cost control options we’ll have at other positions. If needed, I’m sure a few of these options will be traded for upgrades to fill roster spots.
  11. I;d be more shocked at the Sox trading their prospects right now than I would be over getting Harper or Machado.
