Didn't Dick Allen face abuse by Philadelphia Phillies fans and actually demand to be traded from there? I could easily see why he preferred to be inducted with the White Sox where he was adored and treated with respect. I believe his relatives who are Pennsylvania residents pushed for his induction as a member of the Phillies.
