  1. I don't think he cares. I'm pretty sure when and if it was brought it up to him, he likely hand wove it away to talk about profit margins on the concessions.
  2. Wow... I'm speechless. We suffered through this year to end up picking...5th? What a kick in the dick.
  3. This is a very strange take.
  4. Counterpoint-, see Caray, Chip.
  5. I kept hearing how great he was and it never really clicked for me. He was pretty "meh" for me so this changes nothing. I was a MAJOR Hawk and Wimpy fan so maybe I'm a little biased though.
  6. We aren't even sure if that's why they were fired though? We ASSUME it was incompetence, but that's never triggered Jerry with EITHER of his teams in the past? We know they were incompetent, but let's not obfuscate that with the ACTUAL reason Jerry fired them (and that we can only speculate on).
  7. If the original Sox would have moved? Yes we would have. Chicago would be first on ANY expansion list should either team ever move.
  8. Not really. It was one of those trades that didn't really work out great for either team. Sure the Red Sox won a title, but I would not attribute that to the trade they made with us.
  9. Well, this, is an unfortunate (albeit expected) turn of events. Wow.
  10. Ironically enough, you were the one I was thinking of when I posted! I remember reading your article when this happened and was thankful for it because all of my friends were die hard Cub fans and they wouldn't let me hear the end of it lol. Got them all to shut up real quick.
  11. Didn't it come out that those "fans" who ran on the field were actually Cubs fans that had spent the day drinking at the Cubs day game and then went to the Sox game afterwards? I remember reading that on WhiteSoxInteractive at the time. This was during the time that all the local papers were Cub centric and they are the ones that ran with that error. Or maybe it wasn't a Cub day game.
  12. You lost me at "Hopefully they actually have standards to, get (sic) their chains off their neck and make them cut their hair and actually be professional." None of that has anything to do with winning baseball games. The White Sox have a lot of problems that they need to address to become a successful and respected organization. The chains the players wear and the style of their hair are not on that list.
  13. I'll help him out. It's not appropriate for ANY manager in ANY type of company.
  14. Wasn't that published yesterday? Did he post another article?
  15. That's a weird way of defending the seriously inappropriate behavior of Dayton Moore. What's the angle you're going for here? What are you implying?
  16. Until he puts on an "anti porn" seminar for our Minor League players and tries to convert them and or only draft Christian players (which he in fact did in KC). Keep this guy far, far, far away from White Sox Business.
  17. How much money you have is in no way shape or form directly correlated to your intelligence. Let's put that s%*# to bed reeeal quick.
  18. As we've found out with other Orgs, you DON'T have to spend a ton to be successful, you just have to spend WISELY. Drafting and developing young talent helps too.
  19. This meme is really starting to make some of us want Burger to fail because these types of posts are getting to be ridiculous. Burger is a giant...nothing Burger.
  20. There was a guy who called into ESPN 1000 (670 score maybe?), that said his buddy had inside info that Obama/Tiger and another famous Chicagoan are looking to put together a bid for the White Sox if they were to be put up for sale. Sounded like wishful thinking, but you never know?
  21. It's not April Fools right??? Right???
  22. The odds of the White Sox leaving Chicago are much less than them staying in Chicago, period. Like, sure, there's a CHANCE, but not a very big one.
  23. I don't believe this happened the way she says it happened for one second.
