What's really funny is that half of the Dodgers' pitching staff are going to be Dave Draveckys walking around the hospital this season. We act like it's so great the Dodgers spend so much money, but they have to, it's like the Dodgers have a Soylent Green machine in their clubhouse, grinding up the arms of every pitcher they catch. The White Sox have one guy who they're going to be prudent and take it slow with, and you all act like the Sox are worse. The WHO should issue a warning against the Dodgers.

How is it a failure if Thorpe needs TJS? Hey, somebody just had a heart attack in Italy and died. Boy, are you a failure, Balta. Hey, somebody was just in a car crash in Russia. Stop failing, Balta. Yeah, I would say that if all 4 players brought back in the Cease trade all collapsed and became miserable failures, then yes, that trade could be called a bad trade in retrospect. It doesn't look that way, now. It looks like your desperate for something to feed your narrative. Chris Getz just had a great off-season, and the detractors are getting nervous. "OMG, what if his overhaul works?!?!? Quick, start complaining about John Brebbia!!" All y'all are trying so hard to get roller skates on those goal posts for when the Sox get 20 wins better than last year. I can't wait when the Sox get up over .500 and start looking good, and all you guys will announce that the Sox must win at least 2 World Series Championships, or else that dynasty was a failure. LMAO!!

And you're a moderator for a message board for that team. Must be lonely. Need a hug? You seem to be obsessed with the word "failure" tonight. You bet the house on the Chiefs? If the Sox traded Colson Montgomery to another team, you all would collapse onto the floor and cry about what a draft and development failure it was for Chris Getz. If it turned out that the receiving team couldn't develop him further, you would all declare that that's an even more damning failure for Chris Getz. If Montgomery thrived, it would be a bigger failure, still. LOL. Weird that 29 other teams are perfect and do everything perfectly. Maybe root for one of them? It's already been explained to you that nobody with a brain is considering the Cease trade to be a failure.

What failure are they obviously ignoring? Maybe instead of posting, you should be in the parking lot outside of their Arizona offices, honking your horn to get them to come down and hear this pressing information. Thorpe did, pretty much, the opposite of fail, last year. So, yeah, I blame the White Sox development for that. Why do the Padres get no blame? If all 4 prospects suck, maybe we should all take a field trip to some Padres forum to tell their fans how concerned they should all be about their own development.

Gavin Sheets to Padres, India Times not a reliable source

Denver can hold onto their sports teams. San Diego already lost their football team. A FOOTBALL TEAM!! What's going to happen when the Padres are including deVries in a package so somebody will take on Bogaerts' contract? Oakland Padres? I'd be very worried. And depressed. -

Rockies ownership isn't all suing each other, and accusing each other of sabatoge. Yes, the Padres ownership, right now, is probably the most dysfunctional. I laugh too, because to be a Padre fan now means to live in constant humiliation. Just waiting for the inevitable Cease trade, like waiting to die. LOL. I'd be very concerned. And depressed. -

I guess when your team has never won a World Series, and probably won't in our lifetimes, now, wondering which hat Machado will have on his plaque is the only rooting interest left. It really depends on who will trade for that contract this summer. Are Cease, King and Darvish even going to be around on August 1? Maybe the Dodgers can grab them up for dimes on the dollar. I heard that as Jackson Merrill grows and fills out, he'll probably be moved to a corner. Or 1B. Maybe they can extend Cronenworth to prove they want to win. The Padres are like a more dysfunctional Rockies, right now. I hope the widow doesn't start filing injunctions to stop games from being played. I'd be really concerned. And depressed. -

Weird. I'm a Sox fan, and I'm not depressed about that. I guess, being an adult, I know what to expect during a rebuild. It would be catastrophic if San Diego did that last year. I guess they can root for Xander Bogaerts' big paychecks. And now the group of owners is going to fight over who gets the right to slap Padre fans in the face. What a s%*# show. I'd be concerned. And depressed. -

You can hear that kind of sad story every night at the bar of any Indiana casino. "Then a damn 5 thrower shows up to the table." Strange that the White Sox basically gifted their three best players to them, and they haven't been able to do anything beyond that, since. Maybe throwing boatloads of money at any player sports radio squawks over isn't really the best way to run a franchise. I wonder how big an appetite the audience will have for lawsuit themed game headlines in the San Diego Union-Tribune. I'm not going to lie. I don't envy their fanbase. Jurickson Profar should have been a tip-in. Jason Heyward probably thought he had a platoon job lined up for the season. Now Gavin Sheets shows up? I'd be very concerned. And depressed. -

Yeah, it's fun to pretend that the past didn't happen, and everybody gets to keep all their best players they traded away, ill-advisedly. Keith Law just ranked the Padres system in the next-to-bottom tier of systems. That's bad. And concerning. deVries also seems injury-prone, and the Padres are rushing him out of desperation. Maybe they want to trade him before the late owner's widow claims him in a settlement. The fact that other teams acquire their prospects, and it takes a year just to start fixing their bad habits. I'd be really concerned about the Padres. And depressed. -

The fact that the Padres have no confidence in their own ability to draft and develop somebody with even the limited expectations that Sheets carries telegraphs trouble in the Padre organization. If I had even a passing rooting interest in that team, I would be really concerned. And depressed. -
What does any of that have to do with the Sox' "history" of NRIs making the 25/26 man roster because they're cheap?

For the 2025 season? The die are cast, my man.
