  2. I would think this means that if Quero goes down, they don't like a Lee/Romo tandem.
  3. And they also have Thorpe and Berroa's spots. They can still be put on the 60-day IL in case they're at 40 and still want to add. Teel does not sound like a candidate for the 60-day, and I have no idea where Baldwin is.
  4. They probably give Mead a longer look.
  5. I'm guessing he'll go to Charlotte with one of the subsequent opt-out dates.
  6. Oh, Share>CopyLink. Thank you very much.
  7. On a PC. Scott Merkin on X: "OF Jarred Kelenic and C Drew Romo were informed that they will not make the 26-man roster. Both players will remain in major league camp, per White Sox" / X
  8. That's what I'm doing. How do I get the frame to display?

  10. They just lost two advanced pitchers. Cleveland needs bodies.
  11. How does one post a Twitter comment?
  12. Pallette makes the Guardians' opening day roster.
  13. And he still has the opportunity. Guys get injured, slump, or whatnot. He's at AAA with an organization who seems committed to investing in his former prospect.
  14. He got a little excited in the annual, backfield Father-Son game.
  15. Borucki and Wade both seemed viable. Must be a deadline.
  16. SoxMachine takes a whack at it One week out, let's predict the White Sox's Opening Day 26-man roster - Sox Machine
  17. KW dished on every single player he had issue with. He said he loved JR like a dad, didn't he?
  18. Now comes the part when a Vaccine Babe just starts making stuff up because they're out of talking points. A vaccine prepares the immune system by introducing a pathogen so your body can learn to recognize and fight it before encountering the real thing. The mRNA vaccines do just that. The twist is they give your DNA an order to temporarily produce a certain protein that coats the coronavirus, it does, then eliminates it. The mRNA order does not alter anybody's DNA, so no, it's not gene therapy. Perhaps that's why you're confused. You've been misinformed for as many as 5 years about this stuff. Can you tell us about this "slightly different process" that mRNA vaccines (that meet the medical definition of "vaccine") must go through? As far as Prescribing Information, full PI on the Pfizer vaccine was available on August 23, 2021, and on January 31, 2022 for the Moderna. Consumers and doctors had all practical information they needed about the vaccines upon release. The EUA's contained all dosing and safety information needed for consumers to make decisions and doctors to administer. The fact that you're making up a purely fictional not-vaccine process of approval tells me that immediate release of PIs wouldn't have mattered to you or others making the same arguments. They're 20-40 page documents that would be meaningless to you. They're not written for laypeople. The side effects and mortality numbers have not been played down. I'm coming to understand that you don't have the capacity to understand what those numbers mean in the grand scheme. You downplay 8100 people dying every single day like that's a joke, while making hay over people having a sore arm and fatigue for a day, like that was a genocide.
  19. You must be trolling, because by now, if you don't understand that the mRNA vaccines, by the time they were distributed, were not "experimental", you're just didn't pay attention to the actual facts. Trump issued executive orders that allowed drug companies to take short cuts in the processes of bringing these to market. When a drug is being developed, it's submitted for testing. Those results are compiled and a report is written. The company then waits for approval to move on to the next step. The short cuts consisted of allowing the developing companies to start the next step while they waited for approval. Just an overlap. All vaccines that were available for the first round of inoculation were as thoroughly tested as any other drug that comes to market. The main glitch in the initial release was that in rare cases, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine caused blood clots that needed to be treated differently. This was the single dose shot. About 5 people died, their vaccine was pulled, and J&J rewrote procedures for dealing with blood clots due to their product for emergency rooms. A few of the other deaths were due to myocarditis, or people just ignoring the allergy restrictions. Nobody's offended you didn't want to be administered the vaccine. People are countering your assertion that the Constitution somehow says people don't have to do what they don't want to because of freedom, or something. The government has the right to issue vaccine mandates to protect the public health. This has been upheld by the Supreme Court multiple times.
  20. We all had a lot of time on our hands back in 2020. I chose to read up a bunch on diseases and outbreaks. Typhoid Mary was an interesting case. She presented as an asymptomatic Typhoid carrier. They finally found her to be the source of a few outbreaks with a job as a family cook, and she was quarantined in 1907 on North Brother Island in New York's East River. She was eventually released on the stipulation she report quarterly, and not take any cooking jobs, apparently because she wouldn't wash her hands after taking a crap, and that's how the disease spread. She did take cooking jobs and created another outbreak in 1915 of 25 cases that took 2 lives. Some hired a lawyer to end her incarceration, but the judge ruled based on the SC ruling of Jacobson vs. Massachusetts that the state had the right to forcibly quarantine her for the public safety until her death in the 1930s. I realize that SkokieSox is trolling, at this point, but many, myself included, just don't find the subject funny.
  21. What are you even doing? Measles was at elimination in the US, meaning that there were zero new cases in the entire country for 12 month periods, with new cases only being introduced by foreign travelers with no access to the measles vaccine. Now, because of the current anti-vaxx movements, there are outbreaks all over the country. South Carolina enjoys a 1000 case outbreak. This is all easily verifiable. Nobody is making up these numbers. They are real. Because of vaccination programs, Smallpox has been eradicated worldwide. However, closely related diseases, like monkeypox, have reached epidemic proportions in the US due to the elimination of the Smallpox vaccine. But you talk about the dangers of COVID vaccines "hurting more than they have helped". In the current measles outbreaks, they're seeing one death per 300-1000 cases. With the COVID vaccine, they've seen about 1 death per 100 million doses. Again, weird that anti-vaxxers are concerned about deaths that occur at a 1 per 100 million rate, but shrug at a 1 in 300-1000 rate. Why is that? Why do Vaccine Babes minimize death when it comes to a disease ripping through a population, but then scream about the 15 people out of 260 million vaccinated in the US who died due to complications? Is it somehow more noble for thousands to die every day in a pandemic rather than 15 due to mass vaccination? Explain it to me like I'm a 5-year-old infected with measles.
  22. 1) He didn't "invent" the technology. He was involved in early experiments that proved mRNA information could be delivered into cells using lipid fats. 2) His claims about the vaccines (which he had nothing to do with developing, beyond being involved in early experiments of mRNA tech) are refuted by the scientific and medical communities. He offers no evidence for his claims, either. 3) Malone's erroneous claims about vaccines have nothing to do with greater mRNA tech, as you claim. 4) A guy making unsubstantiated claims in area he has no expertise or experience in is not credible. Again, you're not even offering an argument. It's all "Food Babe" nonsense: Misinterpretation or misrepresentation of actual scientific findings or misreading of the Constitution. I'm sure you're readying that old saw about the entire Earth conspiring to perpetuate some sort of lie. I'm just disappointed that you're exposing yourself as so unknowledgeable for nothing but the sport of obstinance. At least Food Babe hawks a supplement line she allegedly makes money from. I get it. You don't like being told what to do. But the Constitution laughs at your claims it protects you from the requirements of participating in society.
  23. The number of people who died with any link to the vaccines number in the "dozens". About half of those stemmed from the J&J vaccine. This is of the 260-270 million Americans who were vaccinated. I find it weird that the Vaccine Babes who shrug off 8100 people dying from COVID every single day try to play up the 20 or so people who died from blood clots or myocarditis (over the last 6 years) due to the various vaccines - as not being worth the risk. Mass vaccinations were effective. The daily death toll from COVID dropped from a peak of around 8100 daily to somewhere between 1500-2500 daily at the peak of Omicron over the winter of 2021/2022. It wasn't until Paxlovid became accepted as a treatment that the numbers dropped off precipitously to under 100 a day. I get vaccinated twice a year due to my own health issues. COVID does not inspire a strong, lasting immune response, and neither do the various vaccines. However, 6 months out of my last COVID shot, my anti-bodies were as high as somebody who had recently had COVID. Anecdotal, I know, but just throwing that out for info. mRNA technology has been with us over 30 years and has been thoroughly tested. Nobody credible believes mRNA is "failed". And vaguely referring to "the data" detracts from your argument rather than supports. mRNA tech is being used in the development of next generation cancer and rare disease therapies.
  24. You've basically dropped below The Food Babe in credibility.
