  1. Despite all of the complaining.
  2. Carlson walked with the best of 'em.
  3. He must be doing pretty good if people know they have to make up things to mock him for.
  4. I am completely positive that TLR tells you guys to post obsessively about him through telepathic messages. It's almost like he controls your own hands. LOL.
  5. And the Tauchman item has been suggest a few times before by actual reporters. I'm not seeing anything on Twitter about Tauchman or even Houser. I would imagine if those guys move, it will be around 4:30 on Thursday afternoon.

    Gilbert's fine. Booser hasn't worked.
  7. He's thinks Tauch stays. The Sox are serious about keeping Robert and picking up his option.
  8. I have no idea. Sounds plausible.
  9. Everybody's signed. MLB Draft Tracker | MLB.com
  10. That must mean we'll have an extra catcher on the bench from a trade by gametime!!!!
  11. So, the leaks to the NYPost about the Sox demanding Vientos in any package for Robert probably came from the Mets to drum up the price for Vientos, regardless of the Sox' interest.
  12. A moon-sized meteor missing Earth miracle? Or a squirrel biting a wire and triggering an East Coast blackout miracle?
  13. The way they're handling Colson is fine. Sure, if they start putting him out in RF, then catching a game, that would be weird. A shortstop can handle 3B. A player doesn't need to attend 7 years of 3B seminary to understand the nuances.
  14. We should probably let your reading skills mature more before we continue this conversation.
  15. Phil Fox is coming along nicely, too.
  16. I have no idea who's available. Neither do you. Most of us learn before our 30's that trade rumors are planted for reasons. Obviously, if Chris Getz is being offered Crochet packages for Robert, he should take the best one and run. If he's being offered garbage, perhaps there are creative ways to get more value.
  17. But if those well-rounded players aren't being offered, then there is value in guys who have had prior success and need to readjust to the league. This isn't that hard to understand.
  18. Baseball players don't develop from little league on knowing one position that they never move off from. Moving from SS to 3B isn't a traumatic move for a player. They have 3 shortstops moving through the system, and they just drafted 4 more. In a season where they'll lose 100 games, I'm not sure what the problem is with moving guys around to see where they fit better.
  19. Every player who hits the bigs, then slumps when the league adjusts to them hasn't "shown you who they are" any more than when they had their initial success. All these guys need development, either as A-ballers, or even 2nd year big leaguers. If nobody's offering their top 200 guys, then there's value to be found with guys your development team thinks they can fix.
  20. Colson has experience at SS. Perhaps they think getting multiple rookies at bats from positions where they collectively do the least damage is more important. It may not be a pursuit you like, I just don't agree it's "asinine" or "colossally stupid". The Sox aren't the only team in the major leagues getting players exposure to multiple positions for flexibility.
