  1. I agree that Robert needs more discipline and concentration at the plate. I think he fell in love with hitting the long HR's and the attention that creates but what he really needs to do is just concentrate on getting on base every at bat.
  2. If Robert doesn't hit it will be a big problem especially now with Eloy gone. He has to be able to get on base one way or another .
  3. Have to find a way to try to look at this loss of Eloy in a positive manor. For as good as he is at the plate he is almost as equally bad in the field. Maybe now the Sox will have a competent left fielder defensively. Maybe the rest of the team will see that they now all have to step up for the loss of Eloy mostly on the offense side of things and some guys will have career years at the plate. Maybe Vaughn will turn out to be an even better hitter than we think he will be. I'm trying.
  4. Keuchel looks awful. He has no velocity.
  5. I'm happy with this deal. I wasn't that impressed with Dunning. Yes your giving up a young arm but Lynn is proven and this team needs to go for it right now.
  6. In this day and age of social media this story will only get bigger and bigger. The backlash and bad press will be overwhelming and leave the Sox organization no choice but to part ways with TLR. How they go about doing that is really the only question.
  7. He was probably drunk when they called.
  8. When do you think we will hear who his coaching staff will consist of? To me this is every bit as important as who the Manager is. These are the guys who work most closely with the players.
  9. Every last one of us knew this teams lack of starting pitching would be it's downfall.
  10. This is all on the pitching staff totally choking.
  11. The Sox will need at least 8 runs to win today.
  12. How can nobody get a friggen out!!!
  13. The A's are not even an average hitting ballclub. The Sox pitching staff, other than Crochet, are simply crapping the bed in the biggest game of the season.
  14. Exactly. Is it the pressure? They should be able to go at least two innings.
  15. I seriously won't be able to watch Rodon pitch.
  16. What exactly is wrong with Eloy? Is it an ankle sprain, foot sprain, have they even said exactly what the injury is?
  17. Just keep scoring and we don't have to worry who we have to pitch.
  18. Dunning nervous as heck.
  19. Haven't been this excited for a Sox game in a long time.
  20. Bauer is going to want to get out of Cincy after this playoff debacle.
  21. Even though it is nerve wracking to watch it sure is great to have the Sox playing games that matter.
  22. Love how the team battled. Do or die tomorrow. Let's see who steps up and who doesn't.
