  1. Well, Zavala will get 2 more chances I think. That's our hope.
  2. I guess the joke went right over your head. My bad.
  3. Can Hendricks and Kimbrel go 7-8-9 every night?
  4. The goal is to win this year's World Series.
  5. LaRussa on the bullpen phone calling for the missile strike next half inning.
  6. Sox best offense is this, Indians Defense.
  7. Ruiz clowning the idiots on this board.
  8. Zavala and Collins, if this is the defense they can provide then might as well put Yermin back there.
  9. Our 1-2-3 blows every night now. It's hard to watch this.
  10. Anyone else think Lynn looks like a Chubby Buehrle?
  11. The way Yoan admired it, I thought that was going concourse.
  12. We make trades, but Leury is still on my TV. Why?
  13. Many, including myself, were underwhelmed with this trade at first. Escobar looked to be the obvious better choice. But thank god for that extra year control here, that afforded to make Madrigal easily expendable. Great work by Rick Hahn, he made a Big Boy Major League Trade, something I never thought he'd be capable of doing.
  14. Or invoking some sort of deferred clause to contracts already made.
  15. I honestly think Liam would have no problem pitching anywhere high leverage. He got paid already, he's not fighting for a contract.
  16. OK, that's just dumb. Kimbrel is like top 5 elite back end.
  17. Burger, Sheets, Adolfo, Stiever, +
  18. Depends what you mean as future. The Twins will not be good again for another 4-5 years. They'll have a long climb to rebuild their pitching.
  19. The best trade return of any so far. This is old school overpay as we were once used to seeing. Eloy/Cease for Quintana level.
  20. They addressed 2B and a much needed Relief Pitcher. A normal trade deadline, I think we'd all be ecstatic with this knowing we addressed two huge glaring holes. The problem is, this is not a normal trade deadline. Contenders are out there not looking to fill holes but to get Superstar players to get better. And also not making this a normal tradeline is that those superstars are truly not costing what superstars once cost when it comes to prospects. I really hope that the desire to retain Burger, Sheets, Lambert, Stiever, Adolfo, etc is not the reason we can't pluck away someone's superstar on the cheap.
