July 30, 20214 yr 2 Top 100s for Berrios, wow. The Twins did better than the Nationals did for Scherzer AND Turner.

July 30, 20214 yr The best trade return of any so far. This is old school overpay as we were once used to seeing. Eloy/Cease for Quintana level.
July 30, 20214 yr GREAT for the next 2 seasons (Berrios out of division)...Not so good for this "sustained window"...hence why some of us don't care about 2024 and beyond...

Gray and Ruiz are both top 40 prospects as well. Martin is probably the best of the bunch, but Gray is a better piece than Woods-Richardson. Plus LAD got 2 other players as well. Nice reutrn for Twins tho. MArtin is the real deal. Glad it was Woods-Richardson and not Manoah.

Glad it was Woods-Richardson and not Manoah. I should say that they got way more value than the Nationals did for one player than the Nationals did for 2. If the Nationals got Gray and Ruiz for just Turner, I probably wouldn't be saying this. But the fact that they also got Scherzer, even if he's a rental, makes this deal look so much worse for the Nats.
