I have no feelings one way or the other about Steiner, so I guess that's a tentative, lukewarm endorsement. I just hope no one makes him laugh during a game, or we'd miss 3 innings of play while he tries to gather himself. He's Horatio Sanz-like when it comes to giggle fits at work.

I personally wouldn't call Brian Wilson a genius, but I think most geniuses were probably considered insane. Writing pop songs just doesn't qualify you as being a genius, in my humble opinion. He MIGHT be insane, though..... EDITED to add that I just noticed the qualifier "in their fields", but I hold to my opinion regardless. I'm stubborn that way....

But Kid and I could not disagree more about the Clash! The Clash was the 4th band I ever considered a "favorite band", and I could listen to them every day and never get sick of them. Sure, they made some bad moves ( 90% of Sandanista! and 97% of Cut The Crap - they should have followed their own advice on that one ), but they wrote a TON of excellent songs, and were very influential on the next wave of punks. Tim Armstrong has made a nice little living off the Clash's influence...( ducking from Kalapse ) I could never name ONE song as the greatest song ever written, that is something that changes every day for me.

Any complaints can be directed to their customer service lines.... ...which, of course, are most likely manned by CS reps in India....

I'll be seeing this next Friday. My dad played a lot of Johnny Cash records when I was a kid, and I've always loved Cash's music as a result.

When Parker and Stone find a target to snipe at, they are usually very inspired and go for the kill. The results may vary in humor, but the target knows they've been hit. Anything that mocks Tom Cruise, I'm okay with.

Haven't been to any of those except USCF, which I think is a beautiful park and a great place to see a baseball game. Of the parks I've been to, I'd say Busch Stadium WAS ( thank God for that wrecking ball ) the biggest dump. Bland, dismal s***hole - the Cardinal fans are finally getting the ballpark they deserve.
