QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 21, 2016 -> 06:08 PM) Just got back from Arizona. Loved it still. Went hiking up Doe Mountain in Sedona. Unbelievable views. I'll throw some pics on here once I upload them. They don't even look real. I did not expect to love Arizona as much as I did. I'd move there in a heartbeat.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 23, 2016 -> 09:53 AM) Finally someone who isn't afraid to face me. Can't wait to throw out Dude Critic right away only for Cactus Critic to jump right back in at number 3. I'm fat enough to come in at 3 after being there at 2 and double-team you! (I'm actually hoping Lesnar or HHH come in at 2 and win the damn thing, unlikely as that may be) -

Most concerning is 3rd hour, promise of Reigns/Lesnar face-off not only didn't draw people, it was a flat out poorly rated hour. I have to imagine Royal Rumble is being re-written. Three hours of any wrestling (PPV's excepted) = too much wrestling. Three hours of the current WWE product = excruciating. -

QUOTE (scs787 @ Jan 7, 2016 -> 12:25 AM) Main roster isn't all that deep. Gotta start bringing talent up, but then NXT takes a hit. And there's the issue. If NXT was truly a developmental fed, this would be a non-issue, but with WWE (and HHH. of course) wanting it to be its own touring brand, they have to keep people there to drive ticket sales. It's a delicate balance, but I would think at some point the main roster has to be your priority. -
QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Dec 29, 2015 -> 11:23 PM) That VH-1 documentary they did was really well done. I would seek out "Lemmy: The Movie". I just watched it again, it's really great. I was fortunate to see Motorhead four times. Loved that band, and they never disappointed live. I wish now that I had stopped in at the Rainbow when I was in LA, just to see if he was parked at his usual spot playing video trivia with a jack and coke. RIP Lemmy!

I'm going to be in Vegas in May and I hope to be able to get to a Paragon Pro Wrestling taping at Sam's Town. I like PPW, even though it's not really a great fed. It has some good people, but when Jessy Sorenson and Wes Brisco are two of your top guys, it cannot be seen as a big player in any sense. I do like The Gentleman Brawler Eric Right, The Obsession Caleb Konley (with Lisa Marie Varon), the main heel manager Chrstian Cole, and Joey Ryan (although I hope not to see the Third Arm Drag). If I get to see the mighty Fruit Loopz in action I will be a happy Critic! -

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 4, 2015 -> 02:32 PM) I'm not sure if it's WWE or Ticketmaster but trying to get tickets for Mania a few months ago and now the Raw after has been beyond frustrating. The crazed throng of Sheamus fans are probably crashing the TM system trying to get tickets to see their hero. -

QUOTE (danman31 @ Nov 24, 2015 -> 04:29 AM) Foo Fighters released a free EP on Monday titled Saint Cecilia. It's decent. The title track is good. How can you not like free unexpected Foo Fighters music? I saw this and I listened to whatever song autoplayed on their website. I didn't find it very interesting, but I haven't really liked any FF tunes for a while now. It is indeed possible to not like free unexpected music. I haaaaaaaated that album U2 dumped onto my iTunes without my knowledge or consent. Blecch.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Oct 22, 2015 -> 09:24 PM) They'd be relying on Arrieta to have another season like this. I do think he'll have a good year next year, but what he did this season was just insane. Arrieta's season reminded me a lot of Esteban Loaiza's 2003 season for the Sox. Jake will make a lot more money than Loaiza did after his 21-win year, though.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 10, 2015 -> 12:35 AM) The story so far seems to be blaming it on forcing the Cubs to expand their strike zone (Phil Cuzzi, of course, Maddon was gracious enough to observe it was the same for both sides)...and also the possibility that Lackey ("I'm not accusing anyone" and then Ross inevitably did just that) was doctoring the ball or the Cardinals were putting balls that had been scuffed or fouled off back into play. I'm not necessarily saying it had anything to do with anything, but Lackey was going to his mouth/hair/cap a lot last night. It stood out to me while watching, so I'm sure it looked suspicious to the Cubs as well.

Matt Hardy is the new TNA champion. Ugh. Awful to take the title off the only interesting person in that entire company, not to mention him losing his undefeated streak in a 3-way cluster against two useless WWE rejects. I know EC3 will remain the only part of Impact worth watching, but this is typical TNA bad booking. -
QUOTE (knightni @ Aug 25, 2015 -> 06:32 AM) Watched Birdman last night. It was boring and pointless. I don't get why it was so lauded by critics and won awards. It was one of the dullest and most uninteresting films that I've ever watched. 1.5 stars out of 5. Very interesting cinematography, well-acted, but the story was kind of crap. I'd probably go 2.5 stars out of 5, but it was pretty disappointing. I like Keaton a lot, so I was really excited to see it.....until I saw it.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 29, 2015 -> 05:22 PM) For your last part, I'm confused. Usually the guy going away loses. But they both are so what did you want done? Anyways I doubt they are going away. They'll both sign with GFW and its all just apart of the rebrand I wanted the guy who threw the other guy's wife in front of a train and vaguely threatened to kidnap the guy's kid to get his comeuppance. That's kind of how the blowoff usually works. The bad guy who has made the good guy's life hell loses in the end. Magnus has already signed with GFW, so you may be right on that thought. -

In TNA news, Jeff Jarrett is your new King of the Mountain Champion. No surprise there whatsoever. This really does feel like the beginning of a TNA/GFW merger. Again, I think it's the only hope for either. The rest of the card felt like the usual confusing TNA booking. Why you'd have James Storm win the blowoff match when both he and Magnus are leaving the company is beyond me. -

I get why he stayed. There's no American alternative, really, and not everyone wants or needs to work in Japan. He makes a good living and is loyal, but they never seem to stick with him in a decent program for any length of time. I think he is a victim of his ability to sell. He makes guys look like a million bucks, so they have him do it all the time. I hope they reward his loyalty with some sort of extended push.
