  1. Tony saving Hendriks so he can double switch and use him as the runner on 2nd in the bottom of the 10th. A real mastermind.
  2. One of the best I've ever seen. He makes so many plays look so easy because of his speed, read and off-the-bat jumps.
  3. Matt Foster stan checking in. Even me the Matt Foster stan who believes he will solve all his problems every new appearance wouldn't even bring in Foster as a joke right here. Tony saving his best reliever for the non-guaranteed innings. You guys just don't get it!
  4. Tony just wants to quadruple check that the game is out of hand before making the move. The good news is when they blow the lead, we'll get to hear about how he HAD Hendriks warming but the time just wasn't quite right!
  5. Yeah, it isn't ideal and he probably didn't want to use two bench guys but pinch hitting Billy Hamilton literally never makes sense.
  6. I like it. I don't want to say I agree because I just said I can turn this game off because Tim is about to win it before he grounded out weakly like he was Mike Caruso.
  7. Three hours is a long time. I can't even talk to my wife for 1 hour at dinner. If I had to multiply that by 3 in one sitting and I'd probably be divorced.
  8. i think he wanted hamilton out there for defensive purposes in the 8th, but I'd honestly rather let Lamb hit vs the lefty than Hamilton. At least Lamb could run into one.
  9. oh, the classic good natured ribbing from soxtalks most sensitive poster who can't ever take a joke.
  10. Daily game-thread fun question. What was a more hilarious move made by our trusty manager. Intentionally walking Albert Pujols because he thought it was 2008? Pinch hitting Billy Hamilton with two outs and no one on base? I have to go with Hamilton but it's a real tough choice.
  11. Yes, TLR has shown in this game he is a true real life Will Hunting.
  12. Who wouldn't want a singles hitter up with the bases empty and two outs? Isn't that optimal strategy?
  13. Billy Hamilton just pinch hit in the major leagues. I'm dying of laughter.
  14. James McCann would have kept Jose from making a dumb play and then hit a two run bomb. That's what people are missing!
  15. Hey, give him a break. He'll admit to it post game and that's all that matters!
  16. Tony is pissed. He isn't sure why the Tigers were still trying because he told his guys to stop in the 6th inning.
  17. Tony for sure going to need a ticket to the matinee, otherwise he'll be too drunk to remember it.
  18. Forgetting Evan Marshall is a blockbuster set to release this fall!
  19. 80 pitches for keuchel and sure he gave up hard contact but what was the issue with letting him start an inning.
  20. What i like about Marshall is no matter how bad he is, Tony treats him like he's Mariano rivera. He really knows how to read when a guy is going good!
