  1. Double plays are different.
  2. Players are judged on the sum of their sample, not only their down periods or only their up periods. In 169 career mlb plate appearances, he has a 907 ops. Thats very very good
  3. Soreness bad enough to keep you out of two games is an injury. If general soreness kept a player out they'd never play. Just because the injury isn't bad enough to keep him out a week doesn't mean it's not an issue. Load management would be keeping a healthy player out who is fine to play. Jeeeeeze
  4. The story that baez is brilliant because of this play is one of the dumber baseball takes of the year so far. First baseman was literally just brain dead.
  5. I've literally said neither of those things, but thinking the sox are giving anderson back to back days off as "load management" because they're playing the orioles is much worse than either of those takes youre criticizing.
  6. Sometimes I think you have to be intentionally trolling but then I realize I'm giving you too much credit.
  7. Ok, so it literally was trashed... and you asked why that would be reported. Weird stuff.
  8. Because the family literally said it was thrown out?
  9. Wait, why was my comment moved a thread called rabbit crap when I didn't even respond or speak on the rabbit issues. Booooooo
  10. No, I asked you what tlr ever did or won to have some name change there -- the woman he replaced had 60 years service. You made some laughably snide comment "informing me" about tlr storied tenure with the organization lol
  11. Jerry manual had a better career winning % with the Sox than larussa so I have no idea where you come up with your definition of success
  12. Jerry manual managed the sox for 6 years and won a division title and 95 games. Most successful coaches in Sox history lol
  13. Derrick Rose. That is all. LOVE TO SEE IT! D ROSE!!!
  14. What has Tony LaRussa won with the White Sox? His storied history with this franchise, who hung the sign, is nada.
  15. Why does it matter if we know the lady? They did it as a showing of thanks to an incredibly loyal employee. No one would expect the average fan to know, but I'm sure as shit it meant a lot to that lady and there really was no reason to change it. Life isn't always, or even mostly, about the big stuff. It is the little things that show respect, appreciation and kindness that matter the most. This was a little thing that likely meant a lot to someone, while that sign means jack shit to TLR, so why change it? The fact that you can't understand that isn't surprising, but it doesn't make it meaningless because you think it is.
  16. Why doesn't our buddy chitown rip all the bunting this year like he did with Ricky at the helm?
  17. Sox had one sac bunt in 2020 lol
  18. White sox only got 8 innings worth of outs today
  19. Imagine if we had two extra outs!
  20. Its way more it feels like
  21. Theyve given up 2 damn outs in the game while trailing at home. Its complete nonsense and this time they sac bunt a 30 runner over to second 2 outs before the 7th inning at that.
  22. another sac bunt. This is like a sick joke
  23. Eaton is hitting 2nd. It's the third inning. You decreased your expected runs scored with the bunt. It was dumb
  24. Bunting in the 3rd fucking inning. Jesus christ
  25. Think ta needed a breather
