    EE was practically already signed when the Sox were tied to him; his father had just passed an delayed things. Keuchel was just the best starter left after they missed out on Wheeler but you are correct. What I find funny is all the "twitter sources" that were scared of "ruining things" in the past and wouldn't say anything are chirping non-stop, and they're talking about things that didn't happen that they knew about yada yada. Why? Because the Sox are good and it gets attention again.

    This is just batshit. Pitching prospects are great and all, and it's been cool to see Giolito pan out, but pitchers are so risky. Lynn is a proven horse and veteran who will give you 1+ years of damn good outings. Even when Lynn wasn't dominant he was a very nice MLB starter.

    At the time, I thought the Sox had traded Int Money from next period. When I realized that wasn't the case, I quickly realized they basically just bought Dyson for free to be a late inning guy. Summary: I read more, learned more, and realized exactly why they made the move. I forgot playoff rosters are even a little bigger too; which means you can literally carry him and Engel despite them serving a similar role.
